My name is Connor Capizzano, but I am also called AJ and Spike. I just turned twenty years old and I live in RIchmond, RI. At the moment, I am a sophomore at the University of Rhode Island and I am majoring in Marine Biology because its amazing! Apart from constantly studying, I am a brother of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity on campus. Since I am part of such a philanthropy-orientated group, I usually take part in freshmen and student life activities for FREE. What? No money! Yeah you heard me. Originally, I came to URI to study Biological Sciences because I was going for PreMed, but that changed when I realized life would not be like the TV show Scrubs. The factor that had the most influence on my decision was attending my Biology 101 lecture with Professor Wetherbee. On the first day of class he said, "Apart from teaching courses at the university, I study tiger sharks from all over the world." Then he showed us pictures of himself diving with these 15 foot tiger sharks. My reaction went along the lines of, "HOLY S^%@! I can do that!" and its been that way ever since.
Before coming to URI, I attended Chariho Regional High School and did absolutely every kind of extra curricular activity known to man. I ran cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. I did the cross country for the workout, but I was a sprinter in the track seasons. After a few years of training, I became an All-State Athlete and set some records but it was just awesome to be a part of. My high school career consisted mostly of work, running, and more running but oh well thats done.
Besides being ridiculously good looking... or not, I love doing absolutely every activity I can. Lately, I have been rock climbing and playing beach volleyball, but I have been known to cliff jump, sky dive, surf, dive and any other adrenaline sports. Finally, I feel that humor is by far the best thing ever to be discovered. In my spare time, I write comedy material but nothing serious. I love making people laugh so good luck if you meet me!
